Has anybody got one? I am looking at buying one for showing and was wondering if it comes up true to size? I currently have a Champion Ventair skull and was going to go for a Champion hat but like the look of this one. Also if anybody knows the cheapest place to buy one, I'd be very grateful... Surrey Equestrian have one for £50 but I'm wary of buying from there after reading the recent threads?? Does seem a bit cheap as every other site has them on sale at £85+...

Any thoughts?
 
I have one, it's the same size as my Ventair :) I've also recently bought stuff from Surrey Equestrian and it arrived the next day :)
 
I have one, but have a size bigger than usual, have had to put some tape in it though.

The 6 7/8 that I would usually buy was very tight.

Perhaps you could go to a shop to try some out and then order from Surrey?
 
That would be the ideal situation but none of the tack shops near me have a navy hat with flesh harness let alone a Gatehouse one... absolutely useless!! My Ventair skull is a 6 7/8 and ever so slightly too big if anything, so will go for the same size Gatehouse hat.

I may give Surrey Equestrian a ring and see if they have one, need it pretty quick as first show in less than 2 weeks!
 
I would give them a call to see how long it will take to get in - I had to wait 2 weeks for my gatehouse HS1 to turn up. But when it did it was perfect and was £40 cheaper than anywhere else!!!
