Might be worth differentiating whether the hire is for a correctly insured school, with full permissions for external hire, or for a cash in hand job .
20 x 40, great surface, belongs to a good mate - £5 a 'go' (I prob am in there max 25 mins or so)
Boxing up to go out to registered business's:
30 x 55, great surface, £10 an hour with or without jumps - damages to jumps extra.
Local indoor was £25 per hour inc lights, jumps extra.
local mini xc course £10 per horse
Our outdoor school is £10/hour base charge then £5 for each horse. Good surface, floodlights, 20x40ish I think, jumps included in the price. My old yard was £20/hour and jumps extra depending on how many you had but it was bigger in size. West Midlands.
Properly insured equestrian centre - £10 an hour you can choose the 20x40 indoor or 25 x 65 out door - OK surfaces not top notch though.
Not sure about lights extra or not
Jumps included
If you do a regular thing there is a discount

Depends on where I go! Local livery yard with a lovely 50 x 30m outdoor, sand and rubber, beautifully maintained, charges £10 an hour. Local RSs charge anywhere from £20 to £40 an hour, depending if you want an arena with jumps up, and are rarely as well maintained as above mentioned livery yard. Another equestrian centre nearby (ish) charges £15 or £20 I believe.
Local competition outdoor is 40x80 (or something, it's huge!) for £25/hr/horse including arena XC fences and normal showjumps.
Indoors round here are both 20x40 with mirrors and jumps, both £10/hr/horse.
Another competition outdoor is 20x40 and £10/hr/horse.
The below are cash-in-hand favours though I imagine that the 30x60 has all proper insurance.
Well-maintained 30x60 just up the road from me is £5/hr including jumps, though I'm not sure if this is because I've been having lessons off the owner.
One just built 20x60 is £10/hr for up to 4 horses though the surface isn't great off the track at one end and there's no jumps.
I'm just west of Swansea. It's more difficult to find safe, well-fenced, well-maintained grazing than schools!
I did briefly hire out my 40m x 20m sand and rubber Charles Britton arena, with mirrors and a few poles, for £5/hr cash in hand. I got nervous re having no insurance, and when the lovely lady who used the school moved elsewhere, I stopped hiring it out. (Cheshire).
I have a 20x40 arena, excellent surface and well maintained, poles, pods and a couple of sets of wings are available to use and I get £20 an hour. I didn't really want to rent it out so I said that amount because it was the first thing to came into my head. A friend has a lesson in there each week I don't charge her anything.
