Of the winter! More for my benefit than there's but I do like to put hot water on their feeds when it's cold.

Is it just me being soft?

I do it as well when they come in at night in winter but still fine here down south

No it's not just you. Normally my mare has 1 scoop of Happy Hoof with magnesium am and pm but last night I gave her half a mug of speedi-beet with hot water. She looked as though she enjoyed it too

I do it too, haven't started yet though. Both of mine will go back onto alfa-beet for winter and i always soak it in warm water. I know it doesn't make a jot of difference to them but it makes me feel better- and i can defrost my hands on the kettle

I do that too. Started the speedi beet a week ago and he's getting hot water in to mix it.

Looking forward to it being cold enough for hot feeds - still mild here though! Tbh they would eat anything, but I love to give them a warm feed when it's cold - they are on bran too which smells sooooo gorgeous!

Just started feeding Kwik Beet and use hot-ish water to swell it quicker.....

Personally I dont, its not how they'd have it naturally. But I can see how it would make you feel better!
