Hi!
has anyone had any experience with the above? He has a horse I like the look of. I have searched dodgy dealer pages on Facebook and nothing coming up for him but a lot for gavin reilly? Is it the same person?

Please search all dodgy dealers pages on facebook and search for the company name. Its not all good (but then what dealer does have all good I guess)
 
I bought my current horse from him and have got a little diamond but I think I hit lucky! A lot of his horses are very average but pulled into outlines and made to look flashy.

Dyllymoo is right, there are some bad reviews but I often think people are very quick to blame dealers if they have bought the wrong horse.
 
I was on the same livery yard as him for a while. He was pretending he wasn’t dealing, just trying to find a second horse for himself. I know he told a lot of lies, eg a friend of my farrier rang about a horse - he said he’d had the horse for 3 years and had taught his partner to ride on it, but he’d only had the horse a few weeks. I’ve heard worse than that but only hearsay so I won’t repeat it. Identityincrisis is right - horses pulled into an outline. You can see from his videos he’s a poor rider with very heavy hands. No real love for horses, he’s in it for the money. Buyer beware
 
I bought my mare from Gavin and I will speak as I find, she is fantastic, was exactly as described and Gavin was very helpful with the whole process, I also know of 2 other people who have bought from Gavin and they have never had a problem, I think you will always get good and bad reviews on a dealer but I can’t speak highly enough, I think the problem most of the time is people blame their own rider error problems on the dealer/horse but you can only go of your own experience. It never hurts to go and have a look
