Ok, so IMO after recent performances (and providing they stay sound), surely Nick Skelton and Carlo and Michael Whitaker and Amai must be on the GB SJ team. And most probably Robert Smith and Talan. But who will take the fourth place??? I would love to see Ben Maher and Tripple X but John Whitaker and Argento have got to be a possibility (can never rule John out ;)). But what does everyone else think??? Or other people totally??? Its certainly very exciting to have so many excellent combinations to be considered, can't wait :D (positive vibes only please ;))

Tina Fletcher has some very exciting horses. What about Scott Brash? Guy Williams? Robin Hood W should be back?

We actually have very good strength in depth all of a sudden. There's also Dave McPherson and Chamberlain and Tim Stockdale on Kalico Bay. Outsode chances for Bruce Menzies and Sultan although probably lacking experience at top level just now. Peppermill is back now too and if he stays fit would have to be JW's first choice surely. I guess we'll know more after the europeans later this year.

Exciting times ahead for british showjumping i think.

I think unless Tina gets some solid Nations Cup performances in before the Olympics then shes out of it. I don't think Unique will be in question but maybe Hello Sailer.

I think Nick and Michael are well deserved certains if both horses keep fit.

Then the last two place will be between JW and Argento (if it has a good season as JW said at Hickstead) then Scott Brash and Intertoy (when they're on form. they are well up to the standard) Robert Smith - Talan, always rely on Robert then maybe Bruce Menzies with Sultan V. Sultan would make a really good Nations Cup horse as he is very very scopey.

But then again you can't rule of Murkas Pom D'ami as he really has been one of our top nations cup horses.

I really wouldn't like to be Rob Hoekstra next year!

I would think from previous performances Nick, Michael, Robert and then ??? Peter (not always consistent) Tim (Kalico Bay) hmm! a trier but is he Olympic material (horse not Tim)? Scott would probably need a few more good results. Ben (Robin Hood) could they rely on him to be sound? John W (Peppermill or Argento) probably the fourth favourite at the moment but again will Peppermill stay sound and will Argento have the experience?
