Just got mine, how did everyone else do ??

You can't say that you just got them and then not tell us how you did! I got mine a few years ago now.... I feel old...

I got 4 B's and 8 A/A*s
I feel I could of done a lot more revision but I spent every weekend competing. One day when I only had 1 exam in the afternoon I was doing a dressage test in the morning!

My daughter got 7 A's, 2 A*'s and 2 B's!

And nice subject choices...but not anything I would do because anything sciency is scary to me, I prefer my languages and eventually want to do law, if I can get a place at uni next year!

And goodness knows how, as I never saw her doing any work! Only problem is it is going to cost me £100 as I said I'd give her £50 for every A* she got! Oh well, she deserves it!

I'm not very good with langauges, I only took French but got an A

I got 10 A*'s last year for my GCSEs and 3As and a B for my AS results...I got a pat on the back. Can I come live with you CeeBee?

CeeBee, just be glad she didn't get straight A*s!!!! I only got one A* when I did my GCSEs, but it was with about 95%+ in Music.

CeeBee - I said I would give mine £50 per A* too - and the bad news is it's going to cost me £350. I didn't think it through obviously! She got 7 A* and 3 As and a B so all that revision really paid off.

Just going to see what stuff I can sell off on eBay to fund the payout.

I only rode once a week for about 3 months cause I was revising so much. And I think everyone has done really well. 8 A/A*s is fabby

Well done to everyone...... I got my results many years ago... they were chiselled into a tablet of stone. My art exam is still around to be seen..... it's painted on the wall of a cave.

For those who didn't do so well.... it isn't the end... my results weren't fantastic but I managed to make a good living & been having a good life.

I was thinking it's not your GCSE's that are really important its your A-Levels. I think for them I will limit my hours at the stables and do some revision

Monkeybum - with exams it's not always a fair comparison. We have paid through the nose to get those stars - ie private education, classes as small as 10, private tutor for one subject that was not as strong.

And some people excel at exams, but that doesn't mean they are super bright. My academic daughter asked her friend if she wanted a tea bag in her tea the other day. Oh, make mine a cup of hot water please!

well done, your results are fab!! I did GCSE's last year and got 2 A*'s 5 A's and 3 B's then I got 3 A's and a B at AS this year.
could you PM which school your at? only I am quite close to you and I took Environmental Studies as an AS so interested to know which other schools do it!!

I only got a few of mine today too, as I'm only in yr 10 (well, yr11 next week! o.o) but got 3 As... which considering I 'forgot' to revise, wasn't as bad as I thought xD
I tend to spend most of my time in school drawing ponies and wishing I were at the yard....
