I need to get some new rugs for winter and seen these on ebay. Are they good? They seem very competitively priced and "sound" well made. Im particularly interested in the full neck turnout, so if anyone has any views good or bad i would very much appreciate it :)

Thank you :D

I've got the geetac fly sheet and mask , good quality and well made , they are good size wise too, well worth buying imo
Will be purchasing winter rugs soon :)

I like the look of them too, especially the spring/autumn one as they do 7'3" and I like that they've got fleece lining.

Do they come up on big size?

I have a full neck winter turnout, I think they are both good and poor.

The outer is very good, its totally waterproof and the rug really looks the part.
On the inside, its a cotton material, it does not slide and give with your horse, and you need to shake the rug out daily.

I found that the rug itself is very good quality but the finishing is poor, for example the velcro to the front of the rug ripped away within two weeks, the metal clasps on the leg straps are flimsy and both broke within 2 weeks also.

The company who make them did give me replacement clips and velcro and £10 to have the front repaired.

I personally wouldn't buy again due to the cotton inner layer, however if they were to go across to a silky material like the material you find on the inside of weatherbeata rugs then I would buy again. My 6ft fit a 14.2hh cob and a 15.2hh sports horse, the cut seemed pretty good x

Hmmmm ... Is the inside like the inside of the Masta rugs? Im not a fan of Masta rugs due to the cotton lining as the hairs stick and it doesnt slide when the horse moves!! I Love the Shires rugs but they just dont fit my mare very well :(
