Gel Bandages??

Iv been looking for some new bandages as my boy seems to have destroyed one of every set lol and of course he has to match

So therefore im donating them to somebody who will make use of them (a rescue centre i know of) and buying him a new set. Yay, more shopping!

But on my search i stumbled across these:

They look amazing!
Shock absorbing, breathable, non-slip, can be chilled...
Seems a little too good to be true lol

Iv got other bits made with acavallo gel, like my seatsaver. But does anyone have any personal experience of these? or the tail bandage type?

Dont want to buy them then find out that everything in my stable sticks to them or that they break after one use etc lol, i like a bit of retail therapy but not that much haha

Anybody here used any of these before?

I dont have personal experiance but I no my friend uses the leg bandages and swears by them. also been recommended to me by the guy in our local tack shop, he puts them on his horse underneath tendon boots for showjumping. I am planning to get a pair, just need to justify why my pony needs ANOTHER pair of boots...maybe since they are bandages

How have you resisted?!?

Looking at past experiences I only really need one person to tell me they are good and worth the buy to sway me from-
'i need them but they cost money'
to
'money is no object as i NEED them'

and so, il start saving up my pennies, but in the meantime if someone gives me a negative experience story, i will get greatly confused.

Ive just got a pair on ebay for £16 a few weeks ago, ive not used them yet

i have used them- found them absolutely fabulous for support on my mare with arthritic fetlocks. though dont know if they would rub a horse with very delicate skin. dust will stick to them but not badly and they are so easy to wash- just rinse onder a tap! they are quite short id think for a big horse, definitely create more of a boot effect than bandages
