Gel out seat savers any good? Opinions please?

Just wondering what peoples opinions where on these gel seat savers. I damaged my spine four years ago when i was 13, however my back has never been the same. I current have quite a light footed horse, so doesnt really hurt too much in trot however, in her canter i sometimes need to go light seat stopping my lower spine from hurting. Ive read reviews on these products, which is meant to be good.. but has anyone else had any experiance with them?
 
If you search, you'll see that quite a few people have them, including me. I love mine!!! It was strange riding on it for the first 5 minutes or so, but I think they're a great bit of kit. I have a bad back intermittently (am on Tramadol and diazepam right now!) and without this I don't think I'd have been riding at all recently. I need all the shock absorbance I can get. Not sure how it would help your canter issue, but it would certainly help with the trot and general stickability and jarring if your horse stumbles.
 
I bought one after reading about it on here! I LOVE it! I am convinced it has kept me in the saddle a couple of times when I might not have stayed on. Can't particularly comment on the comfort angle as I have plenty of my own padding! But I think they are brilliant.
 
I have an acavello one which I bought for spooky pony (pony now sold to less nervous person). I found it really good for sticking you to the saddle but a friend also has one for her back problems and swears by it!

I have the acavallo one as well.

I have extensive injuries both c6 and c7 and now prolapsed discs at l4 and l5!

Love my gel out, certainly a comfy ride and keeps me in the saddle
 
I have one too and am about to buy another as I end up swapping it onto different saddles. I love it and I have damaged nerves around my nerves and it really does help with the pain. It also helps when stupid horses spook at nothing as you really don't move about. The are not sticky so it's still easy to so rising trot but you don't move about in the saddle at all and they are soooo comfortable.
 
Only negatives is can give you a clammy behind when warm and didn't like the clips but may have been my saddle gullet, could never get clip to stay slotted fully in so poked out.
 
^ I've never had problems rising to trot & have jumped a lot with mine on without any issues - they're grippy but don't make you stick so much that you can't move!
 
Yes you can trot and jump without a problem. I have one I bought second hand (but brand new as she couldn't have it on her saddle) and I love it. Swap it from horse to horse. It's coming showing with me tomorrow (and jumping!) - this in the acavallo gel out.
