Im getting through overreach boots daily and wondered if the gel ones are worth the money. Im constantly loosing shoes and want them on 24/ 7. Are they suitable or should I stick to the cheap pull on ones now ?

You need to find out why you are having overreach problems.
Chances are the hind feet are tracking up to far to help take the weight off the fronts due to either a toe landing or lack of extension on the stride.
Either way it is pointless trying to cure it with O/R boots.
In all my years of being a farrier I never found a boot that was worth a light, but did find that giving caudal support to the front feet always benefited the animal and lessened the chances of O/R
Since treating all my referrals with barefoot I have not had any use for any type of boot.
Even if the horse is going to go back to being shod ,you will find a spell without shoes will be of benefit due to the increase in the chance of getting a heel landing.
If you insist on going down the boot route then you will find the petal type will stay on the best, but they do turn what was an O/R into a bruise so beware!
