I had two gelderlander riding horses on loan for a time, one mare was coloured, but I have no idea if she was 100% or if coloureds are allowed. The high head carriage is the hallmark really.

I agree with Ezme - defiantely no gelderlander in there. We had a big chestnut gelderlander at our yard for driving but he was too much of a wimp to go out alone as had always driven as a pair so was reschooled to ride. He was completely flat from the base of his neck to the top of his tail and had huge shoulders which his neck came out of at an almost vertical angle. But nothing like your lad
I don't think your coloured is Gelderlander either - he's Irish through and through!! His conformation doesn't look the same as the others who have posted photos. I've been with two at various yards and they are quite distinctive really.
