so im on a very small " yard" - field rented from elderly gentleman with basic stables.
theres a lady who is VERY laid back in her care of her horses, she has a 2yr old colt, who after being a menace for the last year , she had gelded last monday.
im after some advice as im a little concerned for the poor chap, after he was gelded they kept him in for 48 hrs, then have turned him out into a small paddock- hes out for around 8 hrs then stabled.
hes VERY swollen, to the point it appears quite difficult for him to pass water
so my question is how swollen should he be post op??
im concerned as the vet wont be revisiting unless they call him back.,and im not sure that they will, i dont wanna mention my concern to them unless i have good reasons/fact to base it upon.
