What would it cost? He has 2 obvious balls (!!) so i dont anticipate and problems, pretty straight forward i would think.
He's 14 years old and i have just him as a companion to my gelding- this is fine he's used to being turned out with other geldings no problem. The fields either side of mine will never be grazed by horses however the one to the back might and i thought it might cause problems if a mare was to move in!

I've done a few now, and it has cost between £200 - £250. This is for an open standing under sedation, rather than a knock down or a closed. Some vets will suggest an older stallion has a closed rather than an open. Certainly, the risks of a bleed are a bit higher if they're older & you go for an open, but we've done it without any problems so far, and would do it the same way again.
