Gelding and mare in together?

Personally I had more trouble with my gelding when he was kept seperate to mares! He now goes out with one other mare and his stable is next to his (indoor stabling they can interact with each other through the bars). Never had any trouble since!

Always have run mixed herds - no problems. As someone said, it's the different characters you need to watch, not the gender!
