gelding personal question!

So my gelding has recently moved to a field with a Shetland and mare. Mare has come into season and my gelding and her are in love. Today while I was feeding the Shetland came between the mare and my gelding. My gelding turned his bun towards Shetland and squirted pee all down his legs.

I've never encountered this before and this was the first time I've seen him do it. He did it twice today. Can anyone tell me what it is and do I need to be worried

Ehm,.......... no, you don't need to be worried!!! LOL - am being as delicate as poss here your gelding has basically got the petrol in his tank but lacks the machinery to start the engine
