Gelding Scars

Please can anyone tell me anything they know about gelding scars, treatments and outcomes? I have been doing some research but loads in the US not so much uk.

I dont know if these treatments have demonstrated success in horses and growing back full healthy skin and hair, but in humans vit E is used topically on scars, aloe vera has the ability to penetrate the dermis layers deeper than oil based ointments, so is touted for good wound/scar healing/ skin burns. Also silver spray.
There was even a craze for using a product containing snail slime for human skin scars….

I’d personally try aloe, vit E and silver rotationally, if i had a horse with a scar.

Sorry I meant old gelding scars from being gelded years ago causing issues now.

Tom Beech the osteopath vet has a post somewhere on his FB page. There are some bodyworkers who specialise in fascia release who can tell if scar tissue is stuck in that area

Yes Tom Beech talks about them a fair bit, I think Tami Elkyam too on her FB page though she is in the US her page is excellent.
