just wondering, does it mean anything when a geldings willy comes out, does it mean they are relaxed or just happens cos they want to make the husbands feel inadequate? lol

just thinking if it means anything so i can go ' oh good he is .... '

lol the end of that sentence is 'relaxed' I think or else he's saying he needs the toilet- my gelding will do it if I have him standing in the yard---he won't go there unless he really has to! lol

Food makes my lad let it all hang out! I assume that if all is clean and tidy in that department he just lets it all hang out to relax and get an airing! He has been known to point at things with it, which really does make OH feel inadequate!

My horse does it when he's chilled out. My friend's horse (who has the hugest willy we've ever seen

) has it out most of the time. Gets embarrassing sometimes

my horse has the most enormous willy. today my husband was down the yard with the horse whilst i was poo picking in the field, and horse had willy hanging out, fully extended...

i heard my husband mutter something to him, and asked what he'd said... apparently it was "well, i've still got my testicles..."

oh good , 2 of mines relaxed a lot then, and sadly for hubby who has measured using his arm and amazement, is a shire horse and has, in hubbies words ' a donger to be proud of'

cool

Mine's just been dangling his out and making my farrier feel inadequate - he doesn't like the farrier - perhaps its his way of making a point??

It also comes out when he's being bathed - I feel obliged to comply with his desire to be clean all over..............

Can you imagine the looks on people's faces, when he comes out of the washroom, pointing it at them???

i turned mine out in the field 1 day and he "got it out" to have a wee at which point my boyfriend stomped off muttering "he is black and he is a horse" hehe

My pony is always getting his willy out during the good weather does not do it at all during the winter far too cold. But he was late gelded so that might explain it - though he lives out with mares and does not mount them so perhaps just relaxed or showing off!

That photo ha ha ha. There is one on a horse rescue site and the poor horse has it out on every single picture! you think they would have waited until it was concealed lol

My horse has it out alll the time, lol! He was cut quite late so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. But he just does it when he's chilled, or tired. Like after I've ridden and untacked, or when I'm grooming, etc. Or when we're just standing around waiting.

HA! Have to say mine has always got his out and he is rather well endowed!! Someone told me (many moons ago) that they get them out to help regulate their body temperature ie to cool down - I can get my boys out within 2 minutes with a bit of gentle stroking in his special spot! A guy who used to come shooting rabbits on our land once said that he wanted to live with my horse if thats what eating grass does for you!!!! He was obviously very jealous!!!!

grey in my siggy used to get his out when i was grooming him. he'd then smack it against his belly which i believe is the horse equivalent of doing something rather rude...

...must have enjoyed being groomed

Merlins remains an elusive creature..... rarely seen and never out for more than a nano second when he thinks you are not looking

Best part about it though, is that his has a little white (well pink) sock on the end, just like his legs!!!!

4yo has it out frequently in the stable, especially when he has just been brought in from the field. First thought it was cos he was cut late?

Also mounts his gelding friends (no mares around). No willy out but still scary cos don't want him to get kicked. He rides along on them then slides off!!
