does anyone have any good words on gel eze saddle pad. my physio has suggested that I get one for my mare.

Yep i use a Stephens gel-eze pad on my mare who is cold backed and also gets very itchy so doesn't like numnahs. They are great just wish they made them bigger to fit the whole saddle as she still itches where the saddle flaps touch her!!

I highly recommend them.

I've heard they can make the saddle slip do you find there is a problem with that. I have a round bellied horse.

No they are non slip, my saddle stays put.
