Wasn't today a lovely day!? Well it was here in sunny Worcestershire!
Finally able to put my (home made by Dad) Jumps up! They look great! I'll take some pics next time.
I also constructed some 'natural' jumps out of tyres and some VERY heavy logs! I broke into a sweat and had to strip down to a t-shirt OMG A T-SHIRT IN JANUARY
Schooled the mare for a bit, then took her over the jumps. She hasn't done any for a month or so, so decided that going through them was an easy option at first (I have plastic poles). Got the message eventually, and we had a speedy but good session! Need to work on collection tomorrow, she does this shuffly little canter atm. Probably didn't help that halfwit here forgot she was carrying a schooling whip and that they are long and scary!

Also, I realised today after reading a thread, how much I'd HATE not having my own yard.
I'd totally be the yard badgirl. I don't do being told what to do with my horses :P
Also reading some recent threads, I love my farrier! He's brilliant, and so nice! (he's fit too, if he wasn't married, and I didn't have an OH I'd totally go there :P) Anyone else got a fit farrier they'd like to big up on here?!

Love to hear what other people days have been like etc :)

If you read this you can have the crust of my peanut butter toast... :p

Totally agree, lovely day today, although being stuck on a course for work wasnt my idea of how to spend such a nice day!

Lucky you having your own yard, but tbh i love my yard, have been there about 15 yrs and we all get on great, and dont really have any gripes about the place, an indoor school would be nice but you cant have it all, were lucky to have our outdoor!

Wouldn't say my farrier is fit, he is ok to look at but a nice enough guy who is very funny, so he does make me laugh, i'll big him up for that quality :D

I'll pass on the crust thanks, not long had me tea!! :D
