Well I took my two girls showing yesterday, and had a lovely time! We met siennamum and both girls were impeccably behaved, although Milly had the odd jump but that can be forgiven at her first outdoor show with a lot going on.

First up Milly was in the 1, 2 & 3 year old, and she came 3rd. The judge said that she is going to be an absolute STUNNER. :D

Next Genie went in Best Condition, and did a nice show for me and came 3rd. Not bad considering she has a recent wound on her leg where the hair is still regrowing, and some of her mane is missing!

After lunch Milly went in the Coloured class. I was on Genie at that point so a friend kindly took her in for me. She was initially pulled in 4th, but was moved up to 2nd after the individual runs and has qualified for the SWPA champs at David Broomes! :D She almost got reserve in the championship as well (the judge came up to us and said it was between her and the one that got it).

G then went into the Large M&M, and when I looked around I thought that considering the entries I would have been pleased with 5th or 6th. Genie did a LOVELY show for me, with an absolutely CRACKING gallop, and only went and won it! She also qualified for the SWPA champs but can't go as she's not registered. :(

So all in all a cracking day!

Oh, and Bradley had his first riding lesson, but fell asleep during it!

Well done to ponies and people!
Genie looks fab and Milly looks like she's going to be gorgeous!! (But I am biased towards any coloured! :D) Glad you had a lovely day out and Bradley is so cute! :D

It was at Keynsham rugby club, which is a fantastic venue, flat as a pancake and lots of lovely grass - despite Coco & Sienna's best efforts to eat it ALL asap.

The Bristol Driving Club has used their grounds the past few years (although I won't be going this year for various reasons) but this was the first year Bath and Borders has used it. It really is a BRILLIANT venue!

Rugby season has just finished, Will was mighty confused about being there on a horse, and was hiding from a couple of groups of local lads who weere wandering about, who he was concerned might see him in his johds & boots

As I posted in PG two lovely horses you have their Fi. Bradley is adorable! :D
M, how did sienna and coco do?

Is it Bath and Borders that are normally at cog mill? or is that Bristol and Borders? (you can tell I don't do much showing!)
