I think it's great. I wonder if you could put a safe hay net inside it so the hay would last longer? Mine hoovers up hay on the floor.

Seems unreasonably expensive for something that'll break immediately unless put in a box, and that you most certainly can make yourself much cheaper. I do like the idea, but no.

It's quite easy to rig up a timed chicken coop door opener to something if you are imaginative.

I have a second haynet in the rafters and the coop opener pulls a pin and releases it

It does say it can take four kilos of hay. Otherwise, I agree.

Have you got a link for a timed release lock? A Quick Look at Amazon yesterday and I couldn’t see any obvious ones.
