I went on one a long time ago. The people on the clinic were relatively novice so the jumps were not big. It was good fun - he is a bit of a joker!

last time I heard he had got very expensive and for me I wouldn't pay mega bucks...
 
I over heard him speaking to his groom like a piece of horse muck! The poor girl was nearly in tears, so therefore I definitely would not go to one of his clinics no matter how good he is. Also professionals though they may be talented at showjumping,:( they do not always make good trainers as I have experienced! They are very happy to take your money but they don't always give much back.
