George can canter a round circle!

George is quite unbalanced and tends to run on the forehand, and when I ride or lunge circles in trot and canter he tends to fall out the outside and twists his head as this is all quite new work for him. Well this morning with my instructors help and advice I lunged him in a cavesson with no bit and fairly loose side reins and bless him he trotted and cantered some lovely circles. Ok they weren't perfect, and he still had his nose poked out but they were round, he didn't fall out and I didn't end up tugging the lunge line and his mout

Just really pleased and heartened to see that he could do it

well done, we had this prob aswell, its great when you get there though. Lots of trot to canter transitions on the lunge really helped my boy and got him more engaged.
