iv scanned the net to find a clear picture and info on a how to fit a german hackamore i cant find anything? would anyone care to help?

not sure it shows the fitting well as got lots of sheepskin on the noseband but here you go

thank you! i never know whether mine is fitted correct? iv noticed some pictures with the cheek pieces attached to the ring ( top of the long shank ) and some attach the cheek pieces to the noseband? if this makes sense? i attach it to the noseband as if attached to the ring on the top of the shank the shanks lay very flat? the hackamore comes in one size so im a bit confused?
