Seeing as my passport Question went down like a lead balloon, I really need some help.

I cant find the correct society to change my horses passport, the BEF have now told me to find the appropriate breed society in the UK, but hes Oldenburg/Hanno so is there anywhere in the UK I could contact

They also said try the NEF in Germany however googling just keeps bringing up the BEF and any contact pages cannot be displayed.

Any help appreciated as I dont seem to be getting very far with it.

its the FN (Federation Equestre Nationale ) Germany.

but if I google it it comes up with BEF, so I assumed they would know

Willing to try anyone at the moment lol

A friend told me she doesnt worry about getting hers changed as its too awkward, is it a legal requirement to have the horses present owner on it do you know ?

I used the google translator to get the info, but Im not sure if I send them an email what response I will get

thanks for the link

I haven't got round to changing my passport yet either, I'm not sure if there's an address inside mine or if it is just more German!

The FN is the body that organises the sport in Germany. Your horses passport should actually have been issued by a breed society. When you say he is Oldenburg x Hanoverian what does the front of his passport say - Hannoverian or Oldenburg or something else?

On my Dutch passport I just got the address from the stamp of the issuing authority and sent them a letter. They replied and asked me to send the passport with a £15 cheque for the change of ownership. I didn't think I would ever see it again but it was returned with my details on it within 10 days! I was very impressed.
If there is an address on the stamp on yours this may be worth a try.

Passport breed just says Rheinland , his brand is what looks like a pair of antlers with a number under it.

Passport has FN watermark on all the pages, and is stamped by them and the address on it is for the FN

But the reason I sent it to BEF was t hat it said this passport is the property of the German Equestrian Federation, and was advised that it should be changed by the UK version, which turned out to be wrong lol

Sunnymane I might send the FN a letter like you did, wouldnt hurt.
