Get a load of this for a stable yard !!!

and i thought this was impressive

Casas Novas in La Coruna there was not a whisp of hay in sight it was like the horses didn't exist

well I have to say that I would be happy to move in, it looks like a lot of thought has gone into the design and layout. I love the aerial view of paddocks - and layout of same, plus I love the way the feedshed is done. I could move in quite happily. Someone is keen on horses.

That's not a real yard. They haven't got spiderwebs, a thick layer of horse dust over EVERYTHING, leaking guttering, weeds growing in between the concrete, a trail of bedding and hay from where you've carried it and a squeaky stable door. More importantly I bet they don't go home smelling of horses and the bed they just mucked out. God knows what the reaction would be when my horse started kicking the door when he witnesses dinner being made. Jeeves is on hand I guess...

Amazing place, but how you would keep it clean. You'd need an army of maintenance people as well as grooms.

Sounds like the guy who built it has had his share of sadness too :(

:eek:I am sorry....but am I the only person who has this incredible urge to wheel a barrow full of loose straw down inbetween the stables....and leave a trail?????:eek::eek::eek:

I can't say I would ever, ever, EVER want to keep a horse there. It's definitely a place made for humans and not happy animals.

However, if they will take a two-legged livery I can move in next week? Do they take cats?

W.O.W!

The 'kitchenette' looks to be bigger than the entire downstairs floor of my house!.

Thing is do you reckon it looks that spotless all of the time or have they had a tidy up for the photos? if there wasnt the odd pic with a horse there you wouldnt think any had lived there.

I'm visualising my boys there, especially one who slobbers his feed over the door when he eats. It's lovely, but give me a scruffy old farmyard any day (ok, well maybe I'd be tempted to accept the arena!).

No.. no your not :D
And walk around in REALLY muddy boots... then let me horse have the biggest cr*p known to man outside his stable?? :D

Georgeous place though

Can just picture dragging the hairy mud splattered monster into those stables...yeap and right now with his cow pat bum it would be just extra special!!

Thanks I'll stick to my run down but comfortable and horse friendly yard I think!

Where are the Swallows and Pigeons ??

They need to be there to poo on the rugs, horses and floor.
It aint a 'proper' yard if it aint got bird poo everywhere !! :)
