Came out of my “office” (spare room) today to find that the kitchen floor was awash because Colin had decided it would be fun to drag the mat around that the dogs water bowl sits on.....

Mopped all that up, then Colin dashed past with something in his mouth..... quick investigation found it was a piece of electrical flex, no idea where he had got it from ?

And then just now we had this.... second time this week....it always looks so cute when the Andrex puppy does it ???

Fortunately the little sod is adorable ???

He does have a choice of two crates but I refuse to keep him crated the whole time I’m working (8 hours a day) and generally I can hear what he is doing.... I think I was concentrating a bit too hard on the report I was writing today ? He is definitely crated during meetings that I have to concentrate on!

He is so adorable I just cannot be cross with him, and I totally agree that it is just him being a puppy ? I shouldn’t give him the opportunity to do those things if I don’t want him to do them, he isn’t doing it maliciously after all.

I just find it a shame he is growing up so quickly, he has doubled in weight since I’ve had him and he is looking distinctly ‘teenager’ already! I can’t believe it when he is only 13 weeks old, I’ll be counting his age in months soon ?

Well Ruby will be a year at the end of the month and is still in full on terrier pup mode. I spoke to her breeder who said both of her sisters are full on with no "off switch" and she is hoping they will settle in another 3 years like their mother did :oops:

This afternoon I was sitting in a deck chair watching Colin run circuits round and round the garden just fun, wondering how I’d got a terrier who thinks he is a greyhound ?

To be honest Millie lurcher is 4 now and she is still a puppy ? - she had an hours scent work training last night, a 2 hour Canine Hoopers workshop this morning and still she played with Colin all afternoon without a break ???
