Poor little Nosey....was just mixing the boy's feeds and my fried called to me to come and look...wet out on to the yard to see our yard cat staggering towards us, tangled in a piece of baler twine and covered literally head to tail tip in thick, dried mud.

One eye is clised over an he has a big bump on his head, and grazes all down his side.

We've taken him to the vet (owner is away until tomorrow evening but have called her) and he was a bit perkier by the time we got there....vet suspects he's been hit by a car, on the head, and taken a tumble then ended up unconscious in a ditch....she thinks when we first saw him he'd have just come round.

He's had an antibiotic and antiinflamatory jab and theyre keeping him in over night because they don't want to sedate him too soon if he's been concussed....so will treat the wounds tomorrow.

They're going to call me this afternoon as his 'guardian' (lol) to let me know how he's doing....but some get well soon vibes would probably do the world of good!

Aww poor little Nosey. Toffee, my hairy yard cat, sends vibes and would like the odd reciprocal vibe please as she presented herself to me this morning with a limp, asking for me to check it out for her. NAD but she says she did feel better for a bit of special attention.

The vet just called, he's doing well.

He's eatinbg, and had some fluids but is mainly doing lots of sleeping. His head/eye is still really swollen but in the morning they're going to sedate him and clean him up to have a proper look.
