hey!
I currently have a 10 month old JRT x (Louis) I live with my OH in a small flat which has a garden but you have to go downstairs to get to it.
When we got Louis we were living in a bungalow with a garden so it was nice and easy to toilet train him etc...i would not buy a puppy now in our flat.
However we are considering getting another dog...*prepares to be shot down in flames*
My reasons are Louis LOVES other dog company..ive just come back from 2 weeks at my parents and he spent that time with their dog and had the time of his life. He now actually seems to be missing the company of another canine :-(
I know we are in a small flat but Louis gets lots of exercise on walks and comes to the yard with me. Would it be unfair to have 2 small dogs in a small flat? The other thing is there is almost alays someone at home due to me being a student and OH weird shifts so they are never cooped up on their own for long.
Not really sure what im asking really. I would probbaly want to get another terrier type thats a similar age around a year and house trained.
Any thoughts?!

I'd go for another rescue terrier, as long as they have plenty of exercise and company, I don't see an issue, my dogs get loads of exercise and when they come home they sleep in the same flipping spot even though we spend £££ on a mahoosive run for them

I would also go for another small rescue like above.
As long as they are getting plenty of exercise and are not on their own for all that long they really don't care where they live!
