As we have gotten interested in pretty showing, I have been taken, almost obsessed :) , but mm tails !!!!

I brush brush brush, add conditioner, used mane and tail brush, body brush, almost do each hair in turn , and yet it still lays perfectly straight , looks glossy, but how do all you M & M people get the fluffy flowing look ?

Don't touch it! Honey is really fussy around her back end so it's rarely brushed and forget it being washed and it looks fantastic (it is black through so doesn't stain!) :)

Plait the tail while it is still damp, put in a band at the bottom and leave until just before you go into the ring for a quick final brush through, it should then be wavy. The tighter the plait and the wetter the hair the more waves you will get:)

It's actually better to make lots of plaits out of the tail, divide up as much as you can and plait each section, then when you release the plaits you will have instant volume!!

wash it to get it really clean condition and detangle, plait it from top to bottom.. then leave it! Don't brush it unless you absolutely have to, and only unplait if you absolutely have to (though in summer they'll need them for flies, so just try plaiting overnight or something?) Good way to get a really thick, wavy tail :) xx
