Getting a hackamore made to measure?

I have been borrowing my trainers hackamore for ages now and feel a bit bad

I tried an ordinary german hackamore but was to big across the nose, hers is a made to measure one that fits him perfectly....

Ordered one last week that looked the same but without the sheepskin and it arrived today. Like this one....

It is far too small

So was wondering if it was possible to get one made to fit J, with the sheepskin included? What do you think? Does anyone know anywhere that will do this?

Hi, i am also thinking of getting my continental hackamore altered on the noseband, if you find somwhere that does it please let me know

Abbey are your only hope, everyone else gets hardware made up in China, so would be a standard mould size.

Plas Equestrian can make you one up to your requirements.

Plas would not be able to make anything other than an english hackamore - the hardware would still come from Abbey.

If you wanted an english one, Shires sell the cheeks and you could get one made to measure with any saddler.
