My horse has been prescribed Synequin joint supplements by the vet. So for the past week she has been having two scoops as advised in her usual feed of Spillers Happy Hoof. Normally she will lick the bucket clean but since adding the supplement she will pick at half and then leave the rest. If the bucket is left with her in her stable overnight she will eat it all but I want her to live out as much as possible so I want to avoid having to resort to this. Tonight I tried sandwiching the remains in two halves of carrot but it was a messy process where I got covered in the feed although she did eat all of it. I have tried carrots in her feed but that didn't work. I don't really want to change her feed either as she is a fatty so needs low sugar etc.
