I have reached a problem with Ted. When we do show practice at home (with or without a whip) he is very forward going and I often have trouble keeping him in walk for the walk around, however when we are at a show I practically have to drag him roung, he will not move forward away from from me and as a result he won't collect up onto the bit and we kind of look like a yak,
The only difference is that when we are at home he is in a french link full cheek snaffle and when we are at a show he is in his show bridle with a rubber in-hand bit.
So does anyone have any ideas for how I can make Ted move forward?
