Hi everyone,

I recently bought a new pony who came with all tack...safe to say the tack is not in the best condition - the bridle and headcollar have not survived the first week and the rugs are too small!!!

I was hoping my Wintec saddle might fit the new boy but he is so wide he's off the scale as far as Wintec gullets go!

The leather saddle that came with him is a bit tatty but still useable and fits him nicely so I'm wondering how much it would cost to get it fixed?

There's a few bits that need restitching, it needs a VERY good clean and there's a few little nicks out of the leather at the back of the cantle.

Does anyone have any idea how much this would cost to get fixed? The tree and girth straps all seem fine so it's cosmetic stuff really. And does anyone know of someone near Leicester who could do this work?

Thank you for your help.

Just take it into a saddlers & ask them....without seing what needs doing it is impossible to give a price & it's also a very specialist area.
