Getting a Second Dog

We have a bit of an odd situation at the moment, we have 2 dogs- sort of, we have our 2.5yr old GSD which belongs to me, and then have been giving a temporary home to a 9yr old Old english ( for 2 years long story) but now the old english will be going to live with her owner again, we're going to find our dog on her own. Since GSD grew up with having another dog around, and loves playing with all the dogs in the family ( its chaos when we all get together with 10 dogs) we thought it might be a good idea to get a second, since she's so used to it. She's not a particularly active dog, she will romp about the park for an hour in the morning and an hour at night then lay on the sofa snoring in between, Any ideas for breeds or if we should just keep her on her own ?

Do yours not? Lucky is a fantastic cuddler!! She's all angles while she gets down the cuddles in close for hours!!

I would say another GSD because I love them!
but is it a puppy you mean or an older dog- if an older rescue, I would just look at whats available to suit your life style and get your dog to meet them.
