Hi all,
I'd like to ask your advice. Myself and my adult daughter live in Casablanca in Morocco. We have three horses and are looking to start competing in dressage and show jumping competitions this year. We are both very experienced but there are no instructors that suit our needs. We have had visiting instructors from Norway and Belgium but they are few and far between. We fly in the UK for one week during the summer and have lessons with a fabulous instructor (Tim Downes at Ingestre) but we would like an instructor to come out to help us with our own horses. Any advice?

Pammy certainly travels (or at least used to) - I'm sure if you priced it up as a decent package, you'd have a number of coaches biting your hand off, especially in the winter months!

I have done this as a coach. You just need to pay and make it attractive enough.

I needed to know I wouldn’t be worse off than if I had stayed home and coached my regular clients. All flights and travel expenses covered, daily or hourly rate et.

What are the competions like in Morocco? I would go to one and ask the people whose riding you like who they train with, may be able to find someone more local.

Tim Downes used to go to Hong Kong a couple of times a year to coach, I'm sure Morocco wouldn't be an issue ;)

For dressage, it might be worth contacting Levi Hunt - he's relocated to southern Spain and (judging by his FB page) he regularly goes to Malta to teach. Morocco would be a similar trip for him I'd have thought. He's a fab coach!

Try Noor Slaoui........she is Moroccan and splits her time between there and the UK. She is a lovely girl and her performance at the Paris Olympics was amazing.....especially the XC.
