Anyone*feel*like*anything*you*post*on*here*somebody*always*picks*at*you?? Reason*for*deleting*my*account*last*time!*haha..x

Oh my there are some delightfully negative people on here who are only happy if they can put someone down, but hey, they are just the miserable types who you avoid in real life.

But, whenever I have posted here about a real problem, there have been some wonderful knowledgeable responses which have given me lots of thought for ways forward, and I have learnt so much by reading other people's experiences. So on balance HHO is interesting, informative and worth putting up with the odd miserable response for.

I just looked back through your three previous posts and can't see any evidence of someone picking on you. I think your stars make your posts come across really strange, and thats why people posted comments about it. Its hard to read what you're actually wanting to say for the stars...

Hahahahaha sorry guys my keyboard is so broken i have no idea whats going on with it! Yeahh you're all right, people do come across in the wrong way!
& to comment aboce, I used to have an account and deleted it because as you can imagine, having an ex race horse and asking a little question is the perfect oppurtunity to be told you're doing it all wrong xxxx

I was talking about when i had my old account and don't think it's the stars that would cause online abuse haha! Anyway i don't think anyones been rude about the stars, i've had 10 times worse on here haha!x

Well the usual reason people get abused on here is not treating their horses in the way members on here think is right.

Unless you just annoyed everyone

Either way welcome back :D :D

Really? There are loads of ex-racehorse owners asking questions here. Why should that be a problem?

I find this very odd. I came on here last August, a nervous, anxious returner to riding and horse owning and asked for help. Since then I've posted numerous requests for advice and support. I've had lots of positive helpful replies and almost no negative ones.

You do get the very occasional snide or abrupt post, but they're so few and far between as to not matter.

I wonder why your experience was so different?

Are you sure your not confusing a difference of opinion with 'an attack'
People can be a bit tactless when defending their corner but I've never noticed anything personal.

I have no idea why/if you got attacked here. A good friend who was having a laugh and happy did by a bunch of numpties. The problem with the tinternet is that it has given rise to key board warriors, you know the type bolshy on line, mice in reality. Years ago I and my pony were attacked on a tintrent forum by a key board warrior for being the 'wrong' type for long distance (pony and rider!) And 'only' managing 80 kilometers in a day. I'm quite mild in real life but met said warrior at a ride and offered to 'discuss' our differences out back of the venue and she ran a mile! I always bare that experience in mind! There are some very good very helpful people on here, but its a bit like a livery yard, loads of know lots but know nothings as well. Hope thet helps - probably not!
