I use an ACPAT registered physio. Anyone can call themselves a “veterinary physio” without any qualifications as it is not a protected title when it has something added.

I have used various chiros etc in the past and for me proper physio makes the most difference.

This. A veterinary physio is not the same as an ACAPT physio. I pay the same amount of money for my physio to treat my horse as other friends pay for vet physios and various people offering massage of some description. I don't understand why. I wouldn't see a health care assistant instead of a doctor.

Depends why you're checking. If you suspect the horse has kissing spines, straight for a vet. I've known 2 physios of different accreditation miss kissing spines in 3 horses.
