Hi,
I've been lurking for the past two years due to losing my lovely boy . . . I read and run a lot, but haven't posted because a) I was broken after Kal died; b) I was very busy with work; and c) I didn't really feel I belonged any more because I didn't have a horse.
Well . . . as soon as I can find livery and organize transport, I'm taking delivery of a new best friend - a 16.2hh, Oldenburg mare. She's 7, liver chestnut and very kind. I'm thrilled to be her person . . . it'll be an amazing new journey for both of us, especially me . . . but I'm very much looking forward to the ride - and especially looking forward to having a horse in my life again. I've missed that so much.
It's odd . . . it took me this long to be ready after losing Kali . . . but I'm glad I waited. She's special and I'm very lucky indeed.
