Do any of you have any good tips on how to get my yearlings legs white. He is stabled at night at the moment and is quite dirty and lies in his poo!! He will be turned out from the beginning of May which i am hoping will help but i wanted to show him before then and need to get the stains out. I have bathed him with diamond white shampoo and washing up liquid and although he looks a lot better his knees and hocks are still stained yellow.
How does everyone else get them so clean?

After you have cleaned his legs the best you can, apply lots of chalk whilst the legs are still a bit damp, let them dry with the chalk then when you arrive at the show brush the chalk off with a clean brush, brings my super pink skinned white cob up a treat!!
PS you masy need to invest in 2 blocks of chalk for 4 legs!!:p

I have found diluted vanish powder applied with a spray or sponge works on my piebalds legs, isnt it weird why nearly all coloureds have white legs not black or brown!!!!
