Getting long riding boots altered..

There was a thread on here about getting long riding boots taken in to fit the OPs calf.

I now can't find it or the website that was recommended. I have a lovely pair of mountain horse boots that are too wide and my local cobbler won't take them in!

Any ideas ?

If you're anywhere near a racing area there will be a local boot person who could do it other than that it's scouring the back streets of your local town to find a proper old fashioned independent cobbler. If you're in Wiltshire, Hampshire or Berkshire I could give you a few names.
