Getting my first horse tomorrow!

Hi all! :)

I'm buying my very first horse tomorrow and I'm sooooo excited and a bit nervous too! I've rode for years on and off and have always wanted my own horse since I was a little girl. Tomorrow the dream finally comes true!! He's a 9 year old 15.1 gelding who is such a cool dude and very friendly :) I'm keeping him at a lovely livery yard which is really friendly and they're very willing to help and offer advice at all times which is lovely to have!! I can't believe my dream is coming true :D

I just thought I'd say hello and I'll probably be posting lots of questions in future haha :)

I remember very well the day my first arrived. I was 18 and had begged my parents for a pony throughout my childhood, only realising my dream when I had a job and saved every penny i could to buy him myself.

I will definitely put up photos later on :) he is getting collected from his home at 4pm then he will be at the new yard about 5.30/6pm hopefully. Feel like a kid at Christmas lol can't believe it's finally happening :D

I was 21 and ran around chanting 'I'm getting a horsie, Im getting a horsie' for at least a week prior, didn't sleep the night before and nearly passed out by the time she arrived :D

Well, Mr TJ settled in very well and was a sweetheart!! He didn't bat an eyelid and was just cool as a cucumber!! :) will post pictures tomorrow as off to bed now - all this excitement is tiring work lol work tomorrow is gonna draaaagggg :( x

Posting this sort of news, promising pictures and then not coming up trumps could be dangerous! ;)
You could wake up and find half of h&h sitting on your drive...............
 
Congratulations on your new horse, how exciting for you. As others have said pictures please. That's if you can work out how to put them on here. I struggle, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. 😏
 
The pictures are on her profile! He looks lovely, if a little sleepy, must have been too much excitement for him too!
