Any tips?
We do loads of hacking and only go in the school once a week max ( as it's not my pony's favourite thing!).
Just wondered if there are any tips to make her more forward. I do lots of transitions from walk to trot, halt to walk. She can go nicely but it takes quite bit of nagging. I use a schooling whip just to tap / swish around.
I'd like suggestions that don't involve kicking her in the ribs / smacking her hard with the whip as this won't work with her and isn't the way I want to ride.
I wondered about trying a 'wip ***' (the kelly marks rope thing) but it seems to work as a visual cue, and as my pony is so unflappable and doesn't bat an eyelid at anything, I think shed ignore it!
Jumping she is very different and very forward, so it's just the flat work.
