I have now got three years' worth of large bale haylage wrap and bedding plastic sacks, hi-fi bags etc filling up a stable.

My local council (Cherwell) used to take it in the recycling bins but haven't for sometime now.

I am loathe to burn it but does any one know of a company that would take it for recycling. We are a private, not a livery, yard with 9 horses if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

OMG I am so glad I am not the only one with this problem. I too had 2 years worth of haylage sacks, after local council stopped taking them and after ringing up many waste companies, the cheapest way I could get rid of them was to hire a skip fill it and off they went..... bliss !!

But still not sure what to do with the ones now, save hiding them in black bin liners ( shh don't tell on me) and puuting them out weekly with household rubbish
