Getting rid of ragwort

How do I dispose of ragwort? Can I put it in my garden bin or is it better in general waste bin?

How much is there?
You’d be better having a bonfire to make sure the wretched stuff doesn’t proliferate in compost, try not to inhale the smoke, either.

Check your local council - because it's toxic many councils put ragwort in the same class as Japanese knotweed and hemlock, both of which cannot be put in the garden bin.

I don't really have anywhere I can have a bonfire :-/

I stuck one lot in the garden bin that was going mouldy (been left in a builders bag in the field, got wet and was gross - not by me), subsequent lots went in a skip at the yard, but skip has now gone and I got a (hopefully!) final shavings bag worth out last night. I want to get rid of that one responsibly and also know for next year when I undoubtedly have the same problem.
