getting stains out of cream jods

stains from hunting, got a bit splatted up with mud last weekend. Have washed them normally, and tried some stain removal stuff.

has any one got any suggestions?

Mine are the same- black marks and mud all over!
Not tried it yet but my boss said she puts her daughters to soak in something you soak babies nappies in!!? (I pressume the towel type!?) - have no kids so not got a clue what its called!! But worth a look when shopping me thinks!!

Vannish spray.

I always wash mud stained jods in cold water first though - then through a normal cycle, which usually works.

I put my white and cream jods on a 60 degree wash with oxiclean and they come out lovely ( i do doulbe the ammount im meant to use tho! )

Works a treat.

Vanish powder (you add it in with the wash). I find this better than the spray

Having brought up two incredibly dirty children I can vouch for the vanish bar soap - just scrub it on the stain with a nail brush, dont rinse and then chuck it in the washer.

It removed all the unmentionable stains from their babyhood

. You may have to soak the jodhs for a while (if they'll take it).
