Hi,

I have a friend competing at the BD Champs next weekend on the Saturday morning and was planning on heading up to support either late on the Friday night or early on the Saturday morning... The only problem is that I'm not sure whether I will have use of the car

so I was wondering whether it would be possible to get to Stoneleigh by public transport. I see that I can get a train arriving at Coventry or Leamington Spa by 8.15-8.30pm if I leave after work on Friday but don't know whether there's a bus on from there, whether it would run at that time of night or whether it would be realistic to get a taxi from either station - or whether there is another way of getting there (coach?) from Bristol.

Any advice from anyone who has done it before or has local knowledge would be muchos appreciated!

Thanks

I went to Your Horse Live by public transport in 2006. I caught a train to Leamington Spa and then a taxi to Stoneleigh. I think there were buses but the timings weren't right. The taxi was about £8 each way I think.

bus This is the link for bus info. Put in Leamington spa railway station and national agricultural centre into the journey planner.

Taxi
This gives some taxi companies you could ring for a quote.

Can't remember how long it took. Maybe 10 - 15 mins. there was a lot of traffic.
