Getting x-rays

Might be an obvious question but how do you get copies of x-rays.
I've seen people post pictures of their xrays online but I've never been given any of mine.
Having just had my horse x-rayed I would quite like a copy. Did the vet email them to you or did you photograph the x-ray at the time?

Ask the vet to email you copies most will do so but they can need a bit of chasing.

Last time I asked the vets about 13 yrs ago the vets refused to release the X-rays but times and X-rays have changed a lot in the last few years.

At the time i had the vet take some photos of them for me on my phone, he said they would be happy to email them too upon request.
