Hi, just wondering if anyone has or has used one of these bridles before and could tell me what the quality is like and if it is awful, could anyone recommend me a different bridle for around the same price (about £40/£50) it must have a flash. Thanks very much!

I have one although no longer use it. It was alright and I never had any problems with it, but the leather did go a bit mushy after a while.

Hmm... Id say the opposite. Dont know about this "Advantage" one, but I have a GFS bridle and its lovely. Stayed supple and still looks in great condition. Whereas I had a Heritage one.... lets just say, its in pieces in a box somewhere in the depths of my tack room! Dreadful I thought.

GFS bridles, when from their 'professional range' are wonderful, well made & beautiful leather.

Unfortunately the 'Advantage Range' are a cheap & nasty budget range of imported tack that csashes in on the Walsall address of GFS. The quality of the leather is poor & nomatter what you treat the leathet with is doesn't get any better. I had one as a stop gap some years ago & it was horrible. I don't know what other budget bridle to recommend .....but don't bother with the GFS Advantage range!

I bought one of the £20 bude bridles from this page. Very impressed with it. It was only meant to be a cheapy one for shows. I then bought a £50 bridle from else where, and the quality was no better. I am now using this bridle as my everyday one for the past six months, and its still fine. Seems to polish up quite well two.
