I am interested to hear peoples opinions on the new GFS Synthetic saddle!
Looking to go down the synthetic route just generally for fit, price and weight factors(thinking it will be kinder on my mares ageing back)
I had a GFS Pro event a few years back which was the absolute biz, so comfy and my mare went so well in it...until the headplate cracked :(
Hoping this is basically going to be the synthetic version of it!
Next on my list is Thorogood then lastly wintec...which I have ridden in too and found it alright but have heard Thorogood to be better quality. Would be interesting to hear if people prefer these over the genesis?

Thanks a lot guys,

Emma xx

i have one for my youngster. had it fitted for him just after he was backed and have been riding in it ever since (about a year).

I am really pleased with mine, it is lightweight, wears well and is actually very comfortable. Mine is the equileather and suede version.

The gullets are easy to change too.

I bought a second one for my mare just before i sold her and new owners bought it from me.

I personally would recommend them.

I have the Genesis APX and love it, it's comfy, fits well is easily adjusted as the Boy is only 5 and seems to change shape according to which way the wind blows! It's very durable and easy to clean too. Would definately recommend it :)

I have one, not sure of model, but it is really nice and comfy!

Top tip - not sure if you can get a Snowhill Saddlery account but I paid £480 for mine from a saddler only to pick up my new catalogue to find they did them at Snowhill...for literally half the price....annoyed much!!
